Hola! Welcome to Zorro’s Café and Cantina! We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us. We are a local, casual café that believes in wholesome food made with fresh ingredients, along with a feeling of being at home. This café has been here for over 40 years. Originally opened as a Spanish restaurant, the building was then converted to a real estate office for a short time before returning to its roots as a café. When I was acquiring the café, after eight years of working here, a patron asked me, “What are you going to name it?” I was unsure and asked for help deciding. Many people suggested that I select something personal.

Why is “Zorro’s” so personal? When hearing the name Zorro’s, most people think of the legendary hero featured in the movies, an outlaw living in Spanish colonial California, defending the people of the land. In fact, in personalizing the café, my husband, Steve, and I decided to name it after our Blue Merle Australian Sheppard, Zorro. His breed originates in the Basque region of Spain. Zorro was cunning, like a fox, which is where he got his name. Zorro is Spanish for “fox”. Regardless of what the name Zorro’s means to you – whether it be the swashbuckling defender of the people from Mexican folklore, or the cunning and sleek animal of the wild, or the best friend and most loyal companion a person could ever wish for – we are certain that when you think of Zorro’s Café and Cantina you will think of great food, excellent service and a comfortable and warm atmosphere. We hope that it also brings to mind, as was our intent from the beginning, great friends and good times.

¡Gracias! and thank you again,
